Snuggle up, lounge around or have a dinner party in this beautifully restored log cabin with traditional wood burning stove, charming wooden interiors and three double sized bedrooms. Take walks whenever you like in the 20 acres of forest and pasture that come with this house.

Follow the tree lined drive, as it opens out into a huge, enclosed garden with tree swing. Take breakfast on the porch, or just sit and relax in the morning sunshine. Have a BBQ polish style, on those long summer evenings, or go skiing in winter. Enjoy the many sites of natural, cultural and historical interest the area has to offer, and visit the many shops, restaurants and bars nearby.

This house is my idea of heaven - falling asleep to the sound of the stream outside the window, waking to birdsong, watching rainstorms from the porch, wading out into the meadow in mid-day sun. It's the perfect place to read and write and dream and just be a human being on earth again. I'm convinced the house is inhabited by the sweetest spirits. I feel overwhelmed by an almost ridiculous happiness every time I cross the threshold.

Log cabin Ground floor

The front door opens into a large, attractive reception hallway, off of which lies a spacious, mosaic bathroom decorated by a local artist and fitted with bath, shower and WC. Off to the left, there is also a homely well-equipped kitchen with traditional wood burning stove and oven. The kitchen also has gas fired rings, a standalone electric convection oven, 4-slice toaster, large SMEG fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc, and opens out into a large, pleasant living area with comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs for six, a CD player/ radio and a number of books and games.

Log cabin upper floor

The log cabin comfortably sleeps up to six people. There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The first double bedroom is on the ground floor, whilst the two upstairs bedrooms are built into the loft of the log cabin. The huge, double master bedroom on the right offers ample additional living space and wonderful views over the hillside opposite. The twin bedroom lies across the landing and overlooks the mountain stream below.

This beautiful log cabin lies within is a patchwork of villages, farm land, rivers, forest and semi-mountainous habitats, peppered with dwellings of similar wooden construction and stunning scenery as far as the eye can see. You are within 2 – 4 miles of the village shop in Leki Strzyzowskie, the excellent Kamieniec Inn and restaurant in Bajdy and the Micro Brewery and bar in Wojkowka. You are also just a few hundred yards from the bus stop to the regional capital of Krosno, 10 miles away.
